Freedom to Read Week

Freedom to Read Week is an annual event and chance to renew our 
commitment to intellectual freedom. It is led by the Book and Periodical 
Council, with sponsors including the Canada Council for the Arts and the 
Canadian Library Association. Around the country, gatherings and 
exhibits are organized, to highlight books that are currently banned or
