The Corporate Information Branch of the Department of Infrastructure and Transportation is responsible for managing the department-wide strategy and planning function; researching, evaluating and analyzing department programs and issues, and developing options, alternatives and recommendations for management consideration; coordinating the composition of various types of documentation and communication material; and managing a secure, fully accessible electronic library to house department-wide, multi-purpose corporate, strategic and issue related information.
Qualifications:
· Degree in Library Science
· Extensive experience working within an Electronic Library, including;
· Experience cataloguing and organizing collections of documents
· Experience developing an Electronic Library is a definite asset
· Experience developing policy, procedures & systems.
· Strong working knowledge of policies and procedures, standards, collection methods associated with information libraries, Library of Congress Standards.
· Experience developing, facilitating, and conducting training.
· Superior computer skills, including experience, operating a computerized information library, spreadsheets, word processing, emails, databases, using graphics, and conducting internet research.

Duties:
Under general supervision of the Information Coordinator, this position will provide the lead role in the planning, and development of the corporate electronic library, including the establishment of policies and procedures for management of the library system. This position is responsible for the administration and day-to-day management of the MIT corporate electronic library, such that the service is efficient and effective
