Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have a Library and Information Technology Diploma from a recognized community college. Experience working in a library setting, preferably in technical service areas (cataloguing, serials); experience cataloguing ; experience working in the development and maintenance of web sites and HTML coding using programs such as Dreamweaver; experience working with Integrated Library Systems and databases; and experience using desktop publishing programs such as InDesign and Photoshop is essential.

Duties:
The position is responsible for a variety of tasks including working with library systems, serials and cataloguing modules. The incumbent will interact with the unit's team leaders and unit staff, as well as clients. Main duties include assisting with web site maintenance, updating the departmental Publications Database, working with cataloguing and serials modules, and maintaining the Catalogue of Periodicals. Participates in the initiatives related to library systems and services.
