February 22-28 2009 is Freedom to Read Week, which is celebrating 25 years. WPL's Millenium Library will be hosting noon hour readings of 'banned and challenged' books by the following notable individuals:

Monday Feb 23: Journalist Morley Walker

Tuesday Feb 24: Filmmaker Adam Smoluk

Wednesday Feb 25: Councillor Gord Steeves

Thursday Feb 26: Writer Chandra Mayor

Friday Feb 27: Playwright Bruce McManus

These readings will take place in the front lobby of the Millenium Library from 12:10 - 12:50.
