Division Chairs

Division Chairs (2 Positions – Trustees, Library Technicians)

Time Commitment: 2-year term; approx. 10 hours per month

Division Chairs serve as Directors-at-Large with additional responsibility for representing the interests of their respective divisions. They provide input to the Board on emerging issues and opportunities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Represents the interests of their division to the Board.
  • Chairs division-related discussions or initiatives.
  • Engages with stakeholders within their area.
  • Helps identify professional development and networking opportunities.
  • Contributes to strategic planning and Board discussions.
  • Provides reports to the Board as needed.
  • Orients and supports incoming Division Chairs.
