Become a member of the Manitoba Library Association and take part in a provincial network of library and information professionals, institutions, public library boards, trustees and supporters.

MLA membership is open to everyone in Manitoba who supports libraries and information services, including library workers, institutions, public library boards, trustees and community members.

MLA membership helps strengthen the library sector in Manitoba through professional development, advocacy, networking, leadership opportunities and member participation.

Membership rates below are effective June 1, 2026.

MLA now uses Yapla to process memberships online. Whether you are joining MLA for the first time or renewing your membership through Yapla for the first time, you will be asked to choose a membership type and create a Yapla account on our Yapla membership page. Once your account is created, future renewal notices will be sent to you by email so you can renew your membership online each year.

Individual Memberships

For individuals who want to connect, learn, contribute, and take part in Manitoba’s professional library association.
